The inception of 'Crust & Craft Pizzeria' was rooted in a singular aspiration: to introduce true Neapolitan pizza to London. Initiated by the Bianchi lineage in 1985, this humble pizzeria was once a small family operation boasting recipes steeped in tradition.
Marcello Bianchi, our progenitor, mastered the craft of pizza creation during her sojourns across Italy, learning from esteemed pizza crafters in Naples, the cradle of pizza. Back in the UK, her resolve to produce quintessential Italian pizza remained firm, prioritizing age-old techniques and the choicest ingredients.
The once quaint 12-seat eatery is now a cherished culinary fixture, yet our allegiance to exemplariness and genuineness persists unaltered. We cling to traditional wood-fired oven baking, insist on preparing our dough each day anew, and only opt for prime quality components.
Presently, 'Crust & Craft Pizzeria' is still a family-held enterprise with the Bianchi progeny spearheading our ardent collective. Though modern touches have been adopted, our core tenet endures: to forge delectable, legitimate pizza that unites aficionados.
